To lower your stress level, try a few of these tips:
Full, deep breathing is a good way to reduce tension, feel relaxed, and reduce stress.
To help reduce physical tightness and tension, try a neck and shoulder massage with either a family member, friend or by yourself.
Aerobic exercise such as walking, running or bicycling is especially useful for counteracting stress.
Everyday activities like house cleaning or yard work can reduce stress if done vigorously.
Regular, moderate physical activity may be the best and easiest approach to managing stress.
Also, eat balanced, nutrient-rich meals, cut down on caffeine and find foods with omega-3 fatty acids, found in fish and some plant foods like canola oil and ground flaxseed.
Also get involved in activities or hobbies that keep your mood up and your stress level down.
